Naomi is a Producer, Director, and Opera Singer based in NYC and originally from Australia.
Naomi is the CEO and founder of Rainsworth Productions. She works with her company on an extensive portfolio of feature films, short films, documentaries, webseries, and has done casting for other production companies including HMM, Miles_Per_hr, Woonhwa Paik, and Guerrilla Coast Pictures.
Naomi is Executive Producer, Casting Director, and Leading Actress in the 2015 Scifi thriller "Subconscious" (Lionsgate), Associate Producer on the 2015 feature documentary "Bitcoin: The End of Money as We Know It" (Winner Special Jury Prize at Amsterdam Film Festival, Winner Best Film at Amsterdam Film Festival), Co-Executive Producer and Casting Producer on the 2014 feature film "Audition", among others.
Naomi is creator and host of "Bitcoin Girl", "From the Peanut Gallery", and is Head Filmbug at Liberty.me. She is the former host of the Libertarienne Show, the IHS online academy “Learn Liberty”, a FEE alumni speaker and Atlas Network alumni speaker. She hosts a monthly Austrian Economics reading group in NYC with the economics editor of Barron’s, Gene Epstein.
Naomi had her off-Broadway debut in 2012 as a lead in the musical "Man With A Load Of Mischief". In 2013 she debuted with the New York Lyric Opera in "Suor Angelica".
Naomi appears frequently as a spokesperson for bitcoin on American national television including Fox Business' The Independents and Stossel. She has also appeared on the Larry Parks Show, the Peter Schiff Show, and has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and Playboy.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Originally from Western Australia, Naomi has a BA in acting (Curtin University), BA in classical music (Edith Cowan University/the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts), minor in business (Curtin University), and a Certificate I in musical theatre (Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts). She has also studied economics at the University of Western Australia, musical theatre at the WAADD, and opera at Mannes Classical Music Conservatoire in New York.
Naomi speaks English, French, German, Italian, and basic Russian. She plays piano, guitar, drums, percussion, recorder, and ukulele, and has performed in orchestras, jazz bands, concert bands, and acoustically throughout Australia. She is a state gold medal-winning Irish Dancer, and is highly trained in many other forms of dance.
Naomi is a proud member of the Golden Key International Honour Society for Academic Excellence.
